With all the improvements being made in glass performance today, it can be easy to forget that the the design and installatino of framing can make or break the performance of a windoe or curtainwall system. After all, it's through the framing connections that water and air can leak into a building, and the frame's thermal conductivity is as integral a part of the unit's thermal performance as the glass is.
